The surrounding countryside has many productive fruit, vegetable and dairy farms, good schools and churches, along with numerous inland lakes for fishing, boating, and swimming. The Kal-Haven State Trail intersects the community's industry and businesses, including one of the few remaining independently owned telephone companies in the state of Michigan. |
