During the Spanish-American war, Admiral George Dewey captured the brass cannon, which was later given to the Village of Three Oaks, who raised $1,400 to restore the National Memorial in memory of those who served in the armed services. Also, the movie "Prancer" was filmed in our town. Two annual events which we are proud of are the Flag Day Parade in June and the Apple Cider Century for Bicyclists held in September. |
