Blossomtime Royalty Visits the Shriners Hospital for Children in Chicago

On Tuesday April 8, 2008, 23 Community Queens, including Miss Blossomtime and her court and Mr. Blossomtime and his court joined the Berrien County Shrines Club representatives and traveled to Chicago.

After a tour of the Hospital, the Blossomtime Royalty entertained the children with a dance. The Queens and Kings also enjoyed interacting with the children playing games, making crafts and getting to talk to them one on one.

A 60-bed hospital, Shriners-Chicago has served the children of the Midwest for over 80 years and is supported by 14 affiliated Shrine Centers from across the Midwest.

Shriners Hospitals for Children relies on the generosity of donors to help them continue their mission of providing specialized pediatric care at no charge, conducting innovative research and providing world-class teaching programs for physicians and other health care professionals.

The Berrien County Shrines Club and Blossomtime have been going on the Shriners tour since 1979.
